Do you ever wish you could upgrade your favorite dive with a few key club amenities? The best of both worlds collide at The Griffin, a next generation neighborhood dive bar that transformed the former O’Connell’s space with a new outlook on laidback nightlife. This under-the-radar Clairemont spot will remain the same in size and atmosphere, yet the new party pros are upgrading the experience. The old carpeting will be replaced with hardwood floors, topped with new booths, light fixtures, and surrounded by dim red décor. In addition to billiards, TVs, and real-deal juke box sound, The Griffin will host a variety of local artists, DJs, and live bands on an intimate stage within the bar. And speaking of the bar, The Griffin will honor dive pricing on Pabst Blue Ribbon and all the go-go classics, but will also serve a fresh new menu of craft cocktails to satisfy guests with more refined palates.
