The best part of the new Hard Rock Hotel in SD is Sweetwater Saloon - this bar is awesome. My plan of attack: Cocktails & apps at Sweetwater first, bottle service and lounging atop Moonstone Lounge second. Thank you Hard Rock for coming to San Diego....
Went there before a Padre game to get some drinks and food. Drinks were way overpriced and never got our food after 45 mins of waiting we got our check for the drinks and left since the game was starting. Awful service and waitress didn't care that we didn't get our food.
Love the Hard Rock in vegas and love that it's making it's mark in san diego. The Sweetwater Saloon is the perfect place to eat and drink before heading out anywhere else. The food and beer taps are great and the atmosphere rocks with beautiful people and a relaxing vibe. The sweetwater saloon is place you have to check out because you'll love it.
Every Gerber bar I've been to never fails to disappoint! I already love Hard Rock as it is and Sweetwater is definitely a awesome addition to Gaslamp. Any place where you can refill your beer without ever having to leave the table gets a thumbs up from me!
I never have a good time at Hard Rock. They are always so snooty and rude at the door it ruins my night before I even walk in. Sometimes they are cool with me because I'm a hot girl, but if I ever come with guys - they try to rape them at the door insinuating that they need a "hand shake". Which really means that they want $100 at the door. This isn't Vegas Hard Rock ... wake up and smell San Diego. Take care of your locals or people like me will stop going to your club entirely.
