Editorial Review of Sunshine & Co.

Sunshine & Co is an Ocean Beach bar with unique setting. Great for groups, you can either hang out downstairs, or if you’re lucky, catch a seat up top in the open. Don’t arrive too late though- entrance to the upstairs deck is closed when it gets too crowded! The beers size is generous, there is a smoking patio and a jukebox where rock music is always playing.  And of course, there are the bar staples- a pool table and a TV. Every Wednesday during the Farmers Market, you can catch an extra great deal, as beer pitchers are ½ price. If you’re in the mood for some food, there is also a Mexican eatery inside which serves up some great dishes to quell your hunger as well. If you’re in OB, this bar is sure to please.

Added 01/24/08 Booze & Mexican Food near the beach!

Sunshine & Co. is one of OB's great hang out spots. Very relaxed dress code...mellow people. They've got a little Mexican Food kitchen inside which is awesome! Good indoor/outdoor spaces and its proximity to the beach is great! Parking in this area of OB is the tough part.

This is such a chill place...your perfect OB hangout. The beers are affordable, the people are mellow and approachable, and the top deck is the best place to have a smoke while watching the sunset. They always seem to have the cutest bouncers...a major plus.
