Formerly Jade Theater – the three-level upscale Asian restaurant and nightclub duo – this downtown C Street staple (barely changed from the original Jade design) is now the new San Diego Masarap Restaurant and Submission Bar and Club. From the transparent bamboo walled restaurant to the subterranean club now dubbed Submission, this new-again downtown dining and nightlife venue just opened in time for the New Year in 2009. Submission Bar and Club will feature a range of 18+ up and 21+ up events with top DJs and avant garde entertainment.
