Stingaree Rooftop Lounge
Named after the city’s turn-of-the-century red light district, Stingaree Nightclub spans three levels. The street-level space is always crammed with clubbers, and floating staircases lead to the VIP mezzanine. The rooftop bar, sizzling with fire pits and beautiful people, is an open-air celebration. The recently rennovated rooftop greets guests with two 16-foot tall, antique Buddha statues. The elevated VIP cabanas sit on a raised six-inch wood platform and are now seen through shades of blue, green and cream, with hand-painted images adding a playful juxtaposition to the cabana’s earthy hues. Rooftop VIP vision is granted by stratus shaped Thai woven bamboo lighting pendants and hand strung Capiz shell chandeliers. The main bar’s signature blue tiling is now visually enhanced with staggered wood stick chandeliers. The internationally hued luminosity mixed with rustic textures and blended natural elements re-introduces the Stingaree rooftop in a whole new local light.
