Listing Details: Splash is a one-of-a-kind self service wine bar with 3 freestanding self-service wine kiosks in the center of the room where guests insert a prepaid card (which you get at the bar). Once your card is inserted, just push the button above the bottle of wine you're interested in tasting. Each push of the kiosk button equals one ounce. The new Splash interior is calming, with exposed brick walls, comfy chaise lounges and warm ambient lighting. Splash was the first San Diego wine bar to offer self-serving Enomatic wine machines.

Added 07/28/09 splashing in san diego!

What a great place to try different wines from all over the world for a great price. They have over 72 wines to taste plus several selections by the glass. We splashed a bit and then had a glass of wine at the bar that was very good and reasonbly priced. We took a bottle of wine home with us as well. The staff was friendly and very helpful and the pizza was amazing. It was very flavorful and well priced. We will be back. It's a great place for happy hour too!
