What was once Club Montage, and temporarily the 2028 Hancock club, is now officially Spin Nightclub, a new attitude-free nightlife sensation in San Diego. Spin is a three level club with a huge stage and two enormous dance floors, a spacious downstairs bar, and a circular top-floor lounge with sections for bottle service and a large outdoor area to catch a breath of fresh air. The deck also provides patrons with a sprawling view of Downtown. There is even a restaurant open for late night dining, serving up yummy bar food and tantalizing tapas til the sun comes back out 6am. The real party, though, is downstairs with the dance floors and DJ’s. With over 10,000 square feet of floor space, the parties and events at Spin is always off the charts. However, guests aren’t the only thing taking up room on the dance floor. Kinetic lighting, lasers, and other special effects gloss over the dancing crowds making for the kind of true nightclub experience you would expect from the pairing of the spirited Downtown San Diego scene and some of the world’s hottest DJ’s. Spin is also available to host Holiday parties, private events, birthdays, and industry special nights with private seating areas and VIP bottle service treatment. Spin hosts hot events on a weekly schedule, Friday through Sunday, and even special events on Wednesday throughout the month. Added 04/20/11 You spin me right

There are some killer DJs that come through here. Wicked stage acts, consistently, keep me coming back. Show up early to get in for cheap, it's the best way to make the most of your money.

Added 06/17/10 Best Venue in San Diego!

SPIN is one of my most favorite clubs to go to. They have good DJ's that play amazing music. They have one of the best sound systems I've heard out of most of the clubs in SD. The staff is friendly and quick to the draw. The atmosphere is awesome, everyone is there to have a good time! Another great thing about the venue is it's location, it isn't in the middle of the city, so there's plenty of parking which saves a $20 ding on your wallet.
