Though the San Diego Sports Club’s claim to fame might be the five dollar Long Island, this happenin’ little venue is also home to a ridiculous happy hour that runs from noon to six in the evening. With a lengthy list of beverages to choose from, you might want to think about preparing a cab for your ride home. Yet, it’s hard to even consider leaving when this “sports” club really starts rocking. This bar has been known to host some of the best local music around town and if you’re a musician looking for a stage, the San Diego Sports Club has a generous space for all displays of talent. From the electric disc jockeys to the acoustic guitar wailers, all shapes, sizes and sounds are usually welcome.
