Pasquale Del Mar

We went to pasquale's for dinner on a Friday night and i must say it was dead as a ghost town. The owner of the restaurant is very loud to his employees and cruel as well. The pasta dishes are excellent but anything beyond is a catch 22 there. If you have money to burn go there, but if you wish to spend money with excellent food and service try a different restaurant, this does not offer that prestige title

I was there for dinner on Valentines Day. We sat facing the open kitchen in a booth. The manager repeatedly went up to the chefs, screamed at them about things that were bothering him. He was so loud, that even with his back to us we could hear him. After he would depart, I could see how sad his people were. It made for a very uncomfortalbe dining experience.

We have been to Pasquale's Restaurant several times and I decided I needed to voice an opinion. It's over-priced....especially for a glass of wine!! The service...slow, and the food just mediocre. Sorry!!!

Went to Pasquale with friends and ordered Italian dinners the food was horrible and service. The people in the restaurant were rude and had to wait for hours before food came. My friend felt so sick for days from her meal in bed for days. I would not recommed Pasquale to anybody to many places to eat in Del Mar.

Group of us went to pasquale to have a Italian meal service was so bad and very expensive for what you ordered. I found the people in the restaurant to be rude . I would never ever go back there again..

Disappointed in the new restaurant in Del Mar. The decor was distasteful, the food was without taste and the bar was definately a pick-up joint.

I am very impressed with the authentic Italian, and in such a gorgeous setting. I will come back for sure!

While the food was definitely above average, the service and the ambiance was pure Denny's and that is an insult to Denny's. We waited 45 minutes for our waiter to take our order, the service staff was constantly moving tables and chairs around, dragging them over the floor so that we felt we were in a convention hall during setup. We tried to order a second bottle of wine, but couldn't get any service and finally gave up. We tried to get a second bottle of water, again, no service. We had to yell at each other over the table to even attempt a conversation. I've never complained about a restaurant in my life, but this one was worth the effort. We'll never go back.
