Listing Details: Noble Experiment is a unique bar located in Downtown San Diego. It is sort of a secret bar and is hidden from street view. It is a reservation only, where you must call or text your reservation and they will then grant you permission to come in. Because of this, it is a nice, cozy and intimate bar setting that is wonderfully decorated. The entrance door is made out of kegs, which adds to the casual, relaxed atmosphere. This bar has signature drinks that will be sure to quench your thirst, as well as a dining menu.

The like-minded brains behind El Dorado and Neighborhood have teamed up to create an incredibly unique and under-the-radar lounge in the East Village dubbed Noble Experiment. Known for serving over 400 hand-crafted cocktails with house-made 100% clear and perfectly shaped ice blocks, Noble Experiment sets the stage for classic spirits with an intimate and edgy Mauricio Couturier-designed space. Nathan Stanton of El Dorado and Arsalun Tafazoli of Neighborhood joined forces to share their passion for organic and abstract mixology with local enthusiasts in an elegant and refined haven. Noble Experiment's custom cocktail concoctions make an effort to tweak your tastebuds and, if they weren’t already before, turn their guests in full-fledged mixed drink masters. Take for instance the New York Flip. We won’t ruin the surprise, but the ingredients include bourbon, port, egg and cream. Trust us, if you had the skills necessary to make them at home, you would. Though you’ll be amazed by the thousands of gold-leafed skulls dancing below a crystal chandelier and other defined decorations, the 800 square-foot den’s décor can’t compare to the ever-changing menu of hand-crafted cocktails inspired and instructed by Sam Ross of NYC’s Milk & Honey. The intimate interior of Noble Experiment is perfect for a small group of can set the scene perfectly for a romantic date. Cozy up and order a cocktail. It can be said Noble Experiment, or NeX for short, is a speakeasy; however, there is no hidden password, you just have to seek out the scene for yourself.
