Moondoggies, named after a character in the classic Sandra Dee surfing film, Gidget, is a sports-themed bar not limited to athletics of the oceanic persuasion. Boasting an incredible forty-eight televisions, they’re certain to be playing your game.

Daily specials like $2 you-call-it Thursdays and $3 build-your-own-burger Mondays draw repeat visitors, even when the baseball/football/hockey season is over. Because of this, the garden patio is always a rollicking party featuring flowing booze, appetizers and entrees like chicken tequila-lime pasta and lobster tacos.

Moondoggies will be closing in late January for a complete remodel – stay tuned for a new face in Pacific Beach in March of 2008.

Rude people rushing and crowding everywhere.

Moondoggies in Pacific Beach is fun when you go with a good group of friends because the drinks are soo cheap. However, I guess there might too many people rushing to the bar because one of the bartenders totally yelled at me for no reason.
Conclusion

 A fun place to go to on a budget and with cool crazy friends.
