Landlord Jim's
A San Diego fixture, this small dive has a worn but comfy feel to it. Landlord Jim’s red walls are always decorated with art and the DJ’s at this hidden jewel never miss a beat. Drinks are reasonable and tasty and a back room offers pillowy-soft seating to whoever snags it first.
Jim’s always pulls in a diverse crowd of patrons who seem quite satisfied to drink and dance without stopping. The bar has some interesting quirks in service, too, including 44 ounce beers that are served to customers in brown paper bags and a bright pink ladies room covered in mirrors. 7 Days a week, from 8 to 10 p.m., Jim’s offers $3 you-call-its. Come in every week to see various art shows, guest DJ's performing, and a number of other special events.
