The bar tenders gave me problems about tipping, when i tipped them and the manager was condescending when i complained that the bar tenders asked for more tips, the bar tenders also told me i was an idiot for not tipping enough when i tipped 20% after their complaints

Rude bouncers, ignorant bartenders and wait staff , and over prices draft and well drinks. What more can you say!

I went in Jimmy O's twice in two weeks. One weekend w/ a couple of friends and a friends boyfriend. As soon as we sat down my friends boyfriend said the service was horrible, the waitress apparently didn't want to work that day or hated her job. I was shocked, I have always experienced great service at least from the bartenders. Anyway so we made sure we tipped her accordingly. I decided to go back again this past Sunday with one of the same friend and a few others. Great service, they found us a spot at the bar and I looked over and the same sour puss faced waitress was there and gave us a very unpleasant look (i'm beginning to think her face is froze that way), any way same attitude, so I spoke with the manager and what was his response....I'm sorry you have that opinion I don't see it that way...are you kidding me??? Are you sleeping with the girl? 6 Different people men and women two different Sundays and the girl is horrible. Apparently she doesn't need the job and doesn't have to work for her tips. I'm not sure what her reason is for being such a ...., but honestly the manager handled the situation completely wrong. Jimmy O's has now lost 6 people that will never return to the establisment unless that get rid of the waitress with the face.

A friend recommended I make the commute up to Del Mar to check out Jimmy O's. I wasn't dissapointed. There were so many TALL, hot dudes. This is very important for me being a tall girl. The crowd was an interesting mix of business-types and people stumbling in from a day at the races. I liked that it wasn't the typical PB crowd I'm accustomed to.
