Gaffney’s is one of the most popular wine bars in San Diego, located in the Lumber Yard along Highway 101 in downtown Encinitas. Sit outside and enjoy the North County scenery, or head inside for authentic barrel charm. Gaffney's is best known for premium small producers' wines by the glass and half-glass, general wine list changes bi-weekly; different wine flights nightly, the "Eight is Enough!" policy since 1992: $8 corkage fee, and $8 discount for retail sales, and visiting winemakers and special events. Gaffney’s carries an extensive list of wines from all over the world for you to taste in-house, or take home to enjoy. They serve hand-selected tasting flights that change daily are happy to recommend something to suit your palate or suggest a good bottle to try at home.
