Flicks has been a staple in the gay community since it broadcasted its first music video back in 1983. Now the TVs are HD and the music videos feature more Timberlake than Springsteen, but Flicks still keeps the good times rolling.


Whether it be Texas Hold 'Em Thursdays or the Wet Booty Contest on Saturday, they have your theme-night needs covered. Welfare Wednesdays cater to the financially-challenged with $1 well drinks and "South Park" airing in all its glory on a 52" plasma screen.


Happy Hour is daily from 2-7pm with free pizza from Taste of Italy at 6pm.

    I moved from LA to San Diego in May of 2002. I was disappointed with many of the bars I first encountered after moving here....but that all came to an end the night I stumbled upon Flicks. I love coming here because there is something going on everyday of the week and it's ALWAYS entertaining. I'm partial to Saturdays though....hot men in a wet underwear contest? Count me in!
    Conclusion

     Hot guys and great discounts on drinks every night of the week....what's not to love about Flicks?!
