By day or early evening, En Fuego Cantina & Grill is romantic enough to bring a date, and charming enough to bring your parents. But when the sun goes down every weekend, the cantina explodes into a no-hold-barred Mexican fiesta. The margaritas are flowing, and the DJ spins the tables with heart-pumping beats. The breezy courtyard fills with tequila-loving multitudes.

En Fuego’s bar is home to some of the tastiest margaritas in town. Try the Bubba-Rita, made with Sauza Conmemorativo, sweet and sour, a splash of orange juice, and a float of Grand Marnier. Or try a gorgeously glowing Island Blue Margarita, mixed with Island Blue Schnapps. On Thursday nights, the kitchen serves bargain tacos until close.

This is a typical corporate America type restaurant. If you like Applebees or Olive Garden, you will probably like this place.

Added 11/18/08 En Fuego, Not So Hot

I recently went to En Fuego for a lunch meeting, and was dismayed at the poor service we received. I've been there twice before, both times with groups larger than 8, and chalked the slow service up to the size of our group. However, 3 strikes and you're out! We were even ordering from a fixed menu with only 5 options, and it still took ~35 minutes to get our food. Our glasses were empty for 10 - 15 minutes at a time before anyone came by to refill the water and iced tea. The waiter we had made us feel as though he were put out simply by our presence. This is not a restaurant I would recommend.

I've never been to the place, but my brother has, and he told me the tacos and margaritas at En Fuego are some of the best he ever had. He went there on a weekend, and had so much fun. He did come home drunk that night, what with all the tequila.
