Editorial Review of Effin's Pub and Grill

An SDSU student fav, Effin's is everything a college bar should be: inexpensive, entertaining, and close to campus. Plus, the place is decorated with bras spinning around ceiling fans. Thursday night is typically the most popular, as Effin's own Steve Langdon serenades a crowd of mainly-San Diego State students with classic Tom Petty, Jimmy Buffett and Sublime hits. Shoot a game of pool or kick back and watch a game on one of the many TV's while your hunger stirs. The menu consists of typical pub-grub fare: buffalo wings, jalapeno poppers, and more. The food is delicious, but plan on waiting a while on busy nights. The bartenders are friendly and fast, not to mention easy on the eyes. And, there's plenty of free parking around back, which is always a plus.
