Editorial Review: (View User Reviews)

The newest addition to the growing East Village nightlife scene is East Village Tavern and Bowl, home to twelve bowling lanes with more rumored to be on the way. Bowling games range from $4-6, and ugly bowling shoes are required and available for rental. If your bowling game is in the gutter, 3 pool tables and 26 HDTV's will keep you entertained. Tavern and Bowl’s close proximity to PETCO Park makes it a prime post-game hang-out spot, whether to celebrate a victory or to drink your sorrows away. Win or lose, there are 15 beers on tap to help you along the way.

Great chill spot down town

Pros
cheap drinks and food for the area, good alternative to a night club and they still play music when games aren't on! I had some very friendly service at the bar!
Cons
While they play music, I think it's the same 10 songs on satelite! Get an Ipod. I'm pretty low matenance, I guess thats it!

Short and sweet. There are different specials EVERYDAY pretty much from 3pm on there is some kind of special and I'm sure they've got ones during lunch too! I like choices and this place has them for a good price! Upscale bar food, local and imported beers on tap and by the bottle, avg price is $6 for a cocktail, $8 I think for patron (thats half of most spots down town!) beers were from $3-$5 pints and they have BIG beers too! Bowling is cheap during the day, more expensive on weekends (Duh). I was told they do an "industry night" on tuesdays and I was lucky enough to be there on Monday for late night 1/2 off appetizers and game day beer specials continued all night. It's just a good alternative to the usual place down town. The East Village has given us a few good spots lately! Thank you!!!
Conclusion

I would recommend this to any group or first date for a fun, chill night out!
