Adults never really outgrow video games, and yet they feel foolish tiptoeing into an arcade; indulging is usually a private exercise. Fortunately for players at heart, San Diego had Dave and Buster’s, the ultimate grown-up playground. An incredible 48,000 square feet of Mission Valley space is jam-packed with cutting-edge video games, virtual reality machines, carnival attractions, digital simulations, and gigantic beer-drenched bars. In ambiance, noise level, and sheer energy, Dave and Buster’s resembles a busy Las Vegas casino. Although betting is not allowed, money is definitely on the line—these games aren’t cheap, and a eventful evening can set you back a substantial sum. After ten each night, the only those twenty-one and up are allowed inside.

Great food! Great games! Tasty drinks! You can't help but enjoy yourself at this place. We came in for a company Happy Hour and it was amazing. Bartenders are awesome, say hi to Trevor!

Added 12/18/07 D&B's the place to be in San Diego

It would seem a bit strange to see a full grown adult stroll into a Chuck E. Cheese to play some games and win some prizes. Dave & Busters gives us an excuse to unleash that innerchild and down a couple beers while we're at it. Check out the giant trivia game where you test your useless knowledge against other drunkards. It's always a fun time at D&B's and their happy hour specials are great!
