Belo is a luxury sixties-inspired club adorned with vibrant colors and psychedelic décor. Although smaller than most Gaslamp mega-clubs, Belo uses its surface area well. Belo is divided into an array of themed rooms and VIP areas, such as the white room and the champagne room. With house, trance, and old school grooves bumping in each room, Belo pleases all passersby. Belo keeps Downtown funky. Although chic clientele boast bottle service, many young hipsters frequent for the reasonably-priced well drinks. Belo’s restaurant serves up equally vibrant dishes to match the club’s unique ambiance.

I loved this place when it was E street too bad they had to change. the hip hop room is way to small and pretty much smells like BO and booty. If they switched rooms and put the house and techno in the small room and hip hop in the large room they we get a better turn out. Not to mention more dancing which means more drinking!

When I ifrst stepped into the club, I thought it looked great. But then I go into their hip-hop room and it stunk like BO!It sucks that their electronic room, is bigger, and the hip-hop room is so small.The bartenders were cool and the price was about average. But I just couldn't stand the smell of the place.
Conclusion

 When I get ready for the weekend and call to see what everyone else is doing and they say were going to Belo, I would not go, unless someone is paying for my drinks!LOL!

price & space

Well the price 99% of the time is $30 to get in! so when it says $15+ thats what that means, unless you get on a list which i prefer its only $10.. we always have a blast there, i love the decor..an the music is good i just wish the big room was the hip hop room! over all the price is the big complaint on not going to belo!

I went to Belo over the weekend and had a good time, but wasn't too impressed. I got there late, but didn't have to wait too long in line, but cover was the usual $20. It's a basement club with vivid lighting of oranges, reds, and blues. The DJ played good hip-hop throughout the night. It's relatively a large place so it didn't seem over crowded. The service was good and fast at the three bars even with people crowding the counters. Wouldn't make Belo my first choice but one of those places you try before you knock it.
Conclusion

 This venue is alright, but not the kind of place i could see myself going to every weekend

rude and disrespectful bouncers, arrogant manager, $25 entrance fee!

The bouncers were the rudest most disrespectful people I have ever encountered. They verbally harassed my friend and then kicked us out for standing up to them! To be a respectable club, you need to give your customers respect. The manager was no better than the bouncers, he didn't even give us the time of day to properly explain the situation. It was ridiculous.

 DO NOT GO TO BELO NIGHTCLUB!
