The Bacchus House in North Park is the area’s premier gay bar/video bar/dance party with some of the best theme nights in San Diego. The first Saturday of every month is Bear Night, an evening honoring the follicly-blessed with free hot dogs and drink specials. There’s also Ladies night, Latin night, a weekly wet underwear contest, and video release parties.
Party like the gods by indulging in the Bacchus House’s happy hour Tuesdays through Saturdays, featuring $2 wells and $4 domestic pitchers. There is a cover charge, sometimes even on weekdays, so come prepared and don’t forget your dancin’ shoes!

Added 07/01/09 Robi Cox is killing this place

This place used to be awesome! Great latin nights, great music, great drinks and they never charged a cover. But everything turned when the owner started getting a rep. Now many people won't go to the bar because of Robi Cox and he has seemed to get more and more greedy as cover charges and drink prices rise while attendance dwindles. Sad, could be such a great plus with the right support
