One More Time: A Tribute to Daft Punk at Stingaree – Wednesday, July 3

Since the drop of Daft Punk’s latest album “Random Access Memories,” the duo has returned to the top of everyone’s summer playlists. Unfortunately, tickets to see one of their shows are hard to come by, so Stingaree booked the next best thing – One More Time: A Tribute to Daft Punk. This impressive replication of the Alive 2007 tour is complete with an illuminating pyramid on the dance floor, chromed helmets and electro-luminescent suits. T-Pain DJ Set at FLUXXWednesday, July 3

From “Buy You a Drank” to “I’m N Luv (With a Stripper), T-Pain’s no fool when it comes to making club anthems that get the people going. Just wait until he rolls up to San Diego on Independence Day weekend with his DJ set. Auto-tune your heart out and party with T-Pain. 9 pm. $15+. FLUXX, 500 4th Ave., downtown.

Sex Panther at Bar WestWednesday, July 3

Sex Panther has some serious sex appeal to bring to the beachside nightclub. Start your Independence Day weekend with a dose of the DJ duo’s outrageous beats and high-energy production. 9 p.m. $20. Bar West, 959 Hornblend St., Pacific Beach.

Fortune’s 4th of July Pool Party at Ivy Rooftop – Thursday, July 4

Join the Fortune 421 gang for this annual party known to make a splash in the Ivy Rooftop pool. It’s a full day of sunshine, fashion, dancing, poolside lounging and all of your favorite San Diego DJs. Headliners Viceroy and Them Jeans will boom the disco house and indie dance sounds on the main stage. By the pool, jam out to funky electro house beats of DJ Theron. 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. $40. Fourth of July Party at WaveHouse – Thursday, July 4

Barrington Levy will bring the reggae and dance hall jams to the beach, kicking off WaveHouse’s first concert of the summer. Just steps away from the sand, the ocean waves will be trumped by sounds from Through the Roots, B-Side Players, Seedless and DJs Ikah Love, Unite, Demon and Murphi Kennedy. 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. $10-$25. Hi-DIVE Pool Party at Lafayette Hotel – Thursday, July 4

A crowd of stylish hipsters and the hottest beat-makers make for one top alternative poolside bash. Hi-DIVE returns to the Lafayette for their Fourth of July party featuring the Cosmic Kids bringing the LA beats to SD. Backing the duo up will be DJs Mike Delgado, Adam Salter and Camron. Sip those cocktails, cannon ball into the pool and get ready to boogie all night in North Park. 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. $20. Lafayette Hotel, 2223 El Cajon Blvd., North Park.

Xzibit Live at Stingaree – Friday, July 5

Rap-star Xzibit will top off the weekend with a live performance at Stingaree. Whether you know Xzibit from his hits “X” and “Paparazzi” or as the catch-phrase-friendly host of the MTV show “Pimp My Ride,” Xzibit continues to magnify his hip-hop presence. He’s worked with everyone from Eminem to Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Timbaland, 50 Cent and remained one of the top West Coast hip-hop rappers. 9 p.m. Pre-sale: $10. Intervention Saturday ft. Redfoo & Intervention Sunday ft. Cosmic Gate at Hard Rock Hotel – July 6 & 7

During Intervention season, Hard Rock Hotel’s fourth floor deck gets packed with locals sprawling over the cabanas, hanging in the pool, burning up the dance floor and showing off for an A-list crowd.  Wrap up the Fourth of July weekend fun with two days of top DJs heating up the hotel. On Saturday, July 6, dance to the beats of Redfoo and the Party Rock Crew, and on Sunday, July 7, get lost in the sounds of Cosmic Gate. 12 p.m. $25-$30. Hard Rock Hotel, 207 5th Ave., downtown.
