Now that the lazy days of summer seem oh so far away, we’ve begun living in a world of pool-party fantasies, browsing through the photo galleries of sunnier times past. Good news, party people. The Gaslamp gods have taken notice and are delivering the infamous Hard Rock Hotel Intervention in the form of a much-needed Wintervention.
On Sunday, February 17, Hard Rock Hotel San Diego is heating up the season with a Wintervention featuring internationally renowned DJ Joachim Garraud. This special edition takes over the Legends Ballroom, as guests pile in for the Invasion 3D experience starting at 3pm.
First step to sizzling is getting to know Joachim. This French DJ and producer has worked with the likes of Kylie Minogue, David Bowie, Kid Vicious, Culture Club and collaborated with David Guetta. His Space Invaders-themed show has taken him around the world, stunning audiences in Germany, Ukraine, Japan, Australia and Indonesia. Unlike a traditional DJ, Joachim takes things up a few notches with the use of video, audio and his signature live instrument, the keytar. Alongside his Space Invader masks, the set turns weird into wonderful and brings guests on a 3D electronic ride.
Pre-sale tickets are now available and start at $25. Your ticket will also grant admission to EDM Sunday School at 207. For more information, visit interventionsd.com
