What would you do with $50,000 cash? Rapper Drake took boxes of bills to a strip club in North Carolina over the weekend. He didn’t just make it rain for the ladies. It was the return of Storm Sandy up in the club, with $50,000 cash floating through the air. According to TMZ, rapper Bleu Davinci also contributed $25,000 cash to the rain storm.
Their destination of choice was Cameo Nightclub in Charlotte.
Wedding bells are ringing in the Spears family. But this time, they’re not for Britney. Her little sister Jamie Lynn Spears is engaged. The 21-year-old actress showed off her engagement ring via Twitter on Sunday. Her man is 30-year-old Jamie Watson, her boyfriend of three years.
This isn’t the first engagement for Jamie Lynn. She was formerly engaged to Casey Aldridge, who is the father of her 4-year-old daughter Maddie. That relationship ended in 2010.
Jamie Lynn’s big sister Britney Tweeted a note of congratulations on Monday morning: “So excited and happy for my sister, congrats @jamielynnspears – love you.” But the Spears sisters won’t be planning weddings together; Britney split from fiancé Jason Trawick in January, after a seemingly stable yearlong engagement.
We have more big news today for “America’s Got Talent.” This morning, NBC’s talent show announced that Heidi Klum will join the judging panel. This supermodel is no stranger to reality TV. She hosted the popular show “Project Runway” for many years, and overseas she is also the host of “Germany’s Next Top Model.”
Klum will join Howard Stern, Howie Mandel and fellow newcomer Mel B when AGT returns to NBC later this year.
Klum confirmed the news in her own style with a quirky graphic on Twitter. The dialogue bubble reads: “America’s Got some serious Talent! I’m really excited to join the panel of AGT to see it all – from the ridiculous to the fantastic! I love the surprise element of the show and not knowing what we’ll see next...”
It’s not all fun and clown costumes for the cast of “Modern Family.” Costars Eric Stonestreet, Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson were forced into some intimate team bonding over the weekend. On Friday evening, the hilarious threesome got stuck in an elevator while in Kansas City for a charity event. And it wasn’t just a few uncomfortable minutes. They were trapped in the broken elevator for a full 50 minutes, along with real life family members and hotel guests.
Eric, who plays Cam on “Modern Family,” Tweeted a message along with this photo: "I honestly handled being stuck in an elevator for 50 min better than I thought. All @jessetyler did was pass wind. That's my mom in blue."
