San Diego is showing some love for New York on Tuesday night. After you exercise your right to vote, head to the Hard Rock Hotel and party for a cause. The SD Loves NY event will benefit the victims of Hurricane Sandy by way of three charities formed in the wake of the east coast tragedy last week.
Stars of the San Diego nightlife industry are coming together to host SD Loves NY. Local venues, promoters, bartenders, personalities, DJs and artists are donating their time in honor of our extended friends and family in New York. The evening will feature emcee Frankie V. from Channel 93.3 and sets by DJs Scooter and Sid Vicious, plus a surprise guest EDM act.
There is no ticket price to attend, but voluntary donations will be accepted at the door. All sales and proceeds will be divided three ways for the In Good Company Hospitality Relief Fund, The Rockaway Hurricane Relief Fund, and Carl V. Bini Memorial Fund: Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund.
David Laurent, founder and owner of NightlifeSD, pledged to match the evening’s bar sales dollar-for-dollar. More sponsors helping to make the night possible include Gramercy Management Group, DJhere Productions, Fortune 421, Sfinx Productions, Belvedere Vodka, Ketel One Vodka, Red Bull and Sleeping Giant Music, among others.
