Great News! offers a weekly schedule of cooking classes with varied times and themes to match anyone’s schedule. Holiday inspired cooking classes around this time of year include All About Gingerbread on Sunday, December 9, instructed by Katherine Emmenegger. Test your cooking skills with Sur la Table at Fashion Valley, which offers multiple themed classes throughout the holiday season. Celebrate the spirit of giving and the elegant deliciousness of holiday candy-making in Holiday Chocolates and Truffles held on Saturday, December 8. Learn the ropes in crafting your own truffles, bark, fudge and rum balls. When you recover from that sugar high, head back for Ina Garten’s Foolproof Holiday Dinner on December 13. Macy’s School of Cooking: Celebrated Chef Bernard Guillas of The Marine Room is hosting a series of cooking classes at Macy’s Mission Valley Home Store’s School of Cooking throughout the holiday season. Perfect your skills before the big day during At the Table with Guest Chef Isabella Valencia from Dallmann Confections on Saturday, December 8. Join Chef Bernard as he welcomes Chef Isabella Valencia from Dallmann Confections as they present some of their favorite recipes of the holiday season. The best part? Hipcooks: The school that makes the kitchen hip celebrates the season with hands-on cooking classes that strive for organic, creative and fun classes for beginners and pros.
