This was an amazing summer in San Diego. Flawless weather (minus heat wave humidity), carefree beach days, craft beer festivals and adventurous staycations. If you don’t believe me, just ask my beer belly. How can you say no to that third brew on an 80-degree Sunday Funday?
If you also had a little too much fun this summer, we’re here to help get you back in shape. Obstacle course races and mud runs are the ideal way to shed a few pounds, without stopping the party. The way I see it, if you run a 5K, climb walls, crawl through mud tunnels, and conquer rope swings, you deserve the free beer waiting at the end. And if slightly ridiculous costumes are involved, well then registration should really be a no brainer.
Upcoming fun runs heading to San Diego this fall include the Sand Pit Obstacle Run, Del Mar Mud Run, Rugged Maniac Obstacle Run, Awesome ‘80s Run, The Color Run and more. And don’t worry, these races are open to all fitness levels, and in most cases, there will be beer gardens and live music waiting at the finish line.
