Artsy: TaylorSays Holiday Trunk Show

The perfect holiday gift should reflect the unique personality of your loved one. Cookie cutter beauty sets and boring knit scarves are great for distant relatives and awkward co-workers, but when shopping for someone close to your heart, it’s essential to put in the extra effort and pick out something they really want.

If you’re on the hunt for a thoughtful gift for your stylish girlfriend, edgy sister or trend-setting best friend, consider a playful piece from the TaylorSays Holiday Trunk Show. A San Diego native, artist Taylor Reeve is heading home to invade Divinity Salon & Boutique with her signature collection of canvas paintings, clothing, jewelry and fierce heels on Saturday, December 10th from 4 to 8pm. Oh, and there will be a lot of wine, too.

Far from a chaotic department store setting, the TaylorSays Holiday Trunk Show will transform Divinity Salon & Boutique into a laidback shopping happy hour, filled with flowing spirits, good friends, and fancy gift finds for all the artsy folk in your life, for $25 and up. Taylor Reeve is well known for her vibrant canvas paintings, and she will be selling original works as well as signed, limited edition prints of many of her most popular creations. Also on display will be pillows, women’s and men’s clothing, baby duds, jewelry, shoes and high heels, all stylized with Taylor’s street and pop art inspired graphics.

No RSVP is necessary; just head to Divinity Salon & Boutique in Encinitas, located at 583 S. Coast Highway 101.

What Taylor Says: Taylor Reeve is a strong female force in the artistic sector of the action sports industry. While you first noticed her designs painted across the brim of many a pro skater’s lucky hats, creeping underneath skate and snowboard decks or even encompassing entire dirt bikes on and off the track, Taylor has also taken a feminine turn toward fancy footwear, the higher the better. From skull-tagged sky-high booties to flirty mellow yellow heels and attention-demanding studded red pumps, Taylor’s eye for detail upgrades everyday footwear. Taylor currently works with Quiksilver, Dragon Optical, Bell Helmets and SkullCandy. Learn more and check out the goods at taylorsays.com and facebook.com.
