Lamplighter Awards in the Gaslamp Quarter – 11/7
In celebration of the Gaslamp Quarter and all its rich history and contemporary allure, the Gaslamp Quarter Association hosts an annual Hollywood-style awards show, spotlighting the city’s best businesses, events and individuals. This year, the 17th Annual Lamplighter Awards will take place on Monday, November 7th, featuring a dinner, auction and awards ceremony at the Omni Hotel. Industry Night IX with Surprise Performance at FLUXX – 11/7
A little rain may cause the freeways to back up in serious Carmageddon-style, but our local party scene never misses a beat. Keep the weekend vibe going with Industry Night IX at FLUXX on Monday, November 7th. These monthly bashes feature surprise live celebrity performers and are known to rock the Gaslamp Quarter to its core. Past surprise artists have included Method Man, Too Short and Common, among many other A-List stars. As the official after party of the Lamplighter Awards, we can expect another epic Industry Night event to go down in history, featuring sounds by DJ Cobra and a surprise performance. Ted Baker London Grand Opening at Fashion Valley Mall – 11/10
Attention local trend-setters: Ted Baker London is heading west, opening a new retail boutique in Fashion Valley Mall just in time for the holiday season. Doors officially opened to the public on Friday, November 4th and this week brings the ultra-glam private grand opening party on Thursday, November 10th. Ted Baker London’s boutiques are known to be as vibrant and eccentric as the label’s clothing and accessories. Sebastian Ingrosso at 4th & B – 11/12
One third of the unstoppable DJ group Swedish House Mafia along with Axwell and Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso is a Swedish DJ and producer of Italian descent who was born in South Africa but raised in Sweden where he spent his youth learning to make music in his father’s studio. Sebastian Ingrosso released his first remix in 1999 and has since been ranked #16 on DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJ List in 2010, among many other accolades. America’s Cup World Series on San Diego Bay – 11/12-20
Prepare for a thrilling aquatic adventure as the America’s Cup World Series transforms San Diego Bay into a playground for the world’s best sailing stars. The World Series is known to be one of the largest international sporting competitions, and it’s bringing America’s Finest City eight days of boat races, entertainment in the AC Village and the highly anticipated Battle of the Bands featuring four winning bands that were selected by community voters, performing alongside local favorites such as The Silent Comedy and Little Hurricane. San Diego Beer Week Chef Celebration at The Lodge at Torrey Pines – 11/13
Beer Week is in full swing, treating thousands of buzzed locals to 180+ brew-centric events at bars and restaurants all over town, now through Sunday, November 13th. The Beer Garden & Chef Celebration is the grand finale event, and quite arguably the best of them all, taking place on Sunday, November 13th from noon to 3pm at The Lodge at Torrey Pines. Gourmet grub and craft brew – does it get any better than that? This event pairs local chefs with local breweries to create a one-of-a-kind tasting experience. And you don’t have to choose your favorites. Your ticket gets you unlimited access to all the goods.
