Rich hues of golds and reds along with shiny blues and silvers are familiar during the holiday season. But shades of pink also happen to be a common sight, once inside the La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla.
The historical oceanfront icon, known by locals as the “Pink Lady,” is inviting all to experience the magic of a New Year’s Eve spent with serene beaches, beautiful courtyards, and Mediterranean architecture.
New Year’s Eve at La Valencia offers a trio of celebratory options. For those looking to stay amidst the comforting old-world charm of the hotel, the New Year’s Eve Hotel Package rings in 2012 with a special offer valid only for the night of Dec. 31st. But what’s a New Year’s Eve celebration without dining and dancing? The La Valencia Dinner feeds from 5pm-9pm with an elaborate three-course meal. Guests can choose from a selection of Kurabuta Roasted Pork Tenderloin, Dungeness Crab Stuffed Sole or Veal Strip Loin Marsala. The dinner is priced at $59 per person. Guest won’t stay seated for long, as the New Year’s Eve Party will rush the dance floor from 9pm to 1am. With music by Wayne Foster, the party will serve a late night tapas menu, plus a lavish coffee and dessert buffet. The party is priced at $75 per person, or $50 for those who also partake in the dinner.
