Escape to Casa California for a Good Cause

Care for architecture with a cause? Escape San Diego and discover a real estate gem in Irvine.

Casa California, a design house of distinction, is a new home by Finton Construction in the exclusive community of Irvine’s Shady Canyon featuring premier O.C. and L.A. designers.

You are invited to discover Casa California from October 13 – November 8, 2009, meet the designers and explore the architectural masterpiece, with proceeds benefiting the Philharmonic Society and its Youth Music Education Programs.

Overseen by the building prowess of John Finton from Finton Construction and with the ultimate design direction stemming from James Magni of Magni Designs, the Casa California showcase house evokes the glamour and sophistication inspired by 20th architecture and design masters Wallace Neff and George Washington Smith.

Also contributing to the showcase house's design team is the timeless design aesthetic of David Phoenix from David Phoenix Designs. Assigned the house's Dining Room as his canvas on which to convey his signature 'California Elegance' style, Phoenix will draw on both his native New England's design traditions and the rich landscapes of California for his inspiration.

Casa California offers beautiful interiors, unique gift shopping, and a wonderful café for your enjoyment. You will enjoy one of the nation’s most prestigious showcase homes for the benefit of the Philharmonic Society and its Youth Music Education Programs.

Casa California is open Tuesday – Sunday 10am to 4pm, and Thursdays from 10am to 9pm with “Meet the Designers” events on Thursdays from 6 to 9pm. Tickets are $30 in advance, and can be purchased at
