Following his success on “American Idol” Season 8 and controversial performance on the American Music Awards, Adam Lambert is not only a new rock music sensation; he’s first and foremost a San Diego native with strong ties to his local homeland.
On Thursday, December 3, 2009 Adam Lambert visited San Diego to dedicate his KISS-inspired costume creation to the Hard Rock Hotel’s collection of rock memorabilia. Arguably one of his most over-the-top costumes to date, Lambert rocked the elaborate get-up with caged wings during his performance on Idol's Season 8 Finale.
Around 3pm on Thursday, Adam Lambert joined fans at Hard Rock Hotel San Diego for the memorabilia dedication in the hotel’s lobby that included interviews, photos, and autographs with thrilled fans. The iconic KISS-inspired costume now has a new home in a prime location on the first floor of the San Diego hotel in the Gaslamp Quarter.
