USS Midway Museum

The USS Midway Museum is an unforgettable adventure for the entire family. Go to sea without even leaving the port! At USS Midway Museum you can explore more than 60 exhibits that contain a collection of 27 restored aircrafts and allows you to experience and relive almost 50 years of world history. Admission includes a self-guided audio tour to the 60 exhibits found throughout the historic aircraft carrier. These exhibits range from the crew’s sleeping quarters o a massive galley, engine room, the ships jail, officer’s country, post office, machine shops, and pilots’ ready rooms as well as primary flight control and the bridge high in the island over the flight deck. Especially popular are the museum doecents that you’ll meet throughout the ship. Each one is eager to share a personal story, an anecdote, or amazing statistic, adding to your amazement throughout your adventure. Veterans walk the same paths they did many years ago and retell their experiences right in the areas they occupied. Most visitors easily spend 3-4 hours aboard Midway and agree that their time on it flies by. The USS Midway Museum provides family-oriented activities for all ages which include three types of flight simulators, music videos, short films, climb-aboard aircraft and cockpits, interactive exhibits, an “Ejection Seat Theater” and much more. It also allows you to have the opportunity to have unlimited admission to all their exhibits and activities. Individual membership, family membership and premium membership are all available. The USS Midway Museum is open Monday thru Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
