Lux Art Institute gives visitors the museum experience without the pretentious vibe.  Said to be more accessible and meaningful than other art galleries and museums in San Diego, Lux is not just about the finished work, it promotes visual displays of the entire creative process, from start to finish. On the third Wednesday of the month, the institute transforms into Lux @ Night. This night event is filled with art exhibits, live music, and delicious eats. The Lux Art Institute is located in Encinitas, in North County San Diego. The museum is open to the general public Thursday through Saturday and admission is $10 for adults.
