Listing Details: Founded in February 1986, by surfer/architect Stuart Resor, CSM was first based in an Encinitas restaurant (George's, owned by co-founder Jane Schmauss). CSM has occupied many locations over the years many years between Encinitas and Oceanside. Finally, in early 2009, CSM settled into its spacious new premises at 312 Pier View Way in Oceanside, California. In the spirit of preserving the history of Surfing, CSM hosts exhibitions, such as “Women on Waves”, currently on display, portraying decade by decade highlights and achievements of many of the most significant female wave warriors in documented history.
