This matchmaking agency is about the most economical and affordable, on the lowest pricing tier beginning at around $1,900 which guarantees you 1 or more dates a month, based on your search criteria. They have an office in San Diego and many other major cities, and their specialty is setting up casual, low-pressure “lunches” or drinks after work for “busy professionals.” The dates they set you up on are traditional blind dates; you don’t get to see a photo of the prospect beforehand. You’ll definitely get a guaranteed quantity of dates per month, but that doesn’t always guarantee quality, since they’re so large and their matching process is naturally a little less personal. But it’s a great dating service for getting back out there again, going on frequent dates, and potentially finding interesting prospects.
Cupid’s Coach: $5,000-$15,000/year. This is an excellent middle-tiered matchmaking agency that is higher up in scale, more localized (LA & San Diego), and more personal. The founder is a woman who does the highly personalized searching and matching herself along with a few other experienced team members through a sophisticated matching system and their own keen intuition. Your membership includes a professional photo shoot as well as the option of having date coaching sessions. Another feature is that you get to look at the photos and profiles of your selected matches beforehand and give them either the “Thumbs Up” or the “Try again,” allowing you the luxury of ultimately getting to choose who you ultimately go on the dates with.
Valenti International Matchmaking, & The Millionaire’s Club (Home of “The Millionaire Matchmaker”). These agencies are the highest tier and the most elite…and they come with one hefty price-tag. Highly selective (and wealthy) singles pay between $25,000 and $100,000 and up (no that’s not a typo) just to begin the process, or for 1 year of dating! These upscale agencies also have an entire team of consultants including Style consultants, Personal Trainers, Psychologists, and Relationship Experts, and to offer you the highest quality of service. All applicants are thoroughly screened with personality tests and credit checks to ensure the finest of quality.
