El Bizcocho
Guests spending Thanksgiving at the Rancho Bernardo Inn can choose from a variety of dining options. El Bizcocho, helmed by newly appointed chef Steven Rojas, offers a four-course menu, including main course choices of Free Range Turkey prepared three ways, Crispy-Skin Alaskan Salmon, and Slow Roasted Rib Eye. The stylish restaurant at the Ivy Hotel has prepared a lavish holiday menu, starting with a starter of warm Truffled Chestnut Soup served with Roasted Sweet Breads and paired with E. Next is a Honey Roasted Turkey with Fuji Apple and Chestnut Stuffing served with Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes and Roasted Squash, paired with Ramey Chardonnay from Sonoma Coast. The final course is Chocolate Covered Pumpkin Crème Brulee complemented by a richly flavored South Australian Muscat Yalumba "Museum Reserve." A decadent Thanksgiving three-course brunch and dinner menu offers Lobster Bisque, Roquefort Cheese Quiche, and San Juan Bautista Mixed Greens as starting options.
