Haven Boutique in Gaslamp Quarter
Haven is a stylish and edgy boutique inside the goth-glam Voyeur nightclub in downtown San Diego. Owner DeAnne Shockey had a knack for fashion since elementary school and decided to open Haven, a walk-in-closet of sorts that bares resemblance to the messy, fun you would find if you were to raid your best friend’s stylish stash. An eclectic women’s closet per se, Haven offers a little bit of everything. From chunky, funky jewelry and loose-fitted tanks to long and short bohemian style dresses, Haven can give any girl the look she desires. See for yourself at Haven in San Diego.

Kyss Boutique in Carlsbad
Kyss, at the new Bressi Village shopping center in Carlsbad, breathes new fashion into North County with its high/low philosophy. Its store, set up like a walk-in closet, gets comfy with living room furniture and plush armchairs so you can sit and ponder your purchase. Grab a $15 tee or Paige denim, as well as vegan handbags, cocktail dresses, lingerie and more. Michael Stars casual wear, Ella Moss, Hype and Big Buddha handbags, Spanx and See Thru Soul are just some of the brands at Kyss. Explore your stylish side at Kyss in Carlsbad.

Mog and Rue in Encinitas
Situated in the Encinitas Lumberyard outdoor shopping plaza, Mog & Rue is a petite, uncluttered boutique with white walls, dark brown floors and fresh flowers. HIS Men’s Boutique in Solana Beach
Classic, modern, comfortable and laidback with a twist would describe the clothing and ambiance. Professional surf photography dresses the walls in large wooden frames while contemporary light fixtures hang from the ceiling. As for the merch, HIS provides local guys with Level jeans, going-out shirts and an incredible collection of t-shirts that range from San Diego sports affiliation to a whale smoking a cigarette. Plain, but exceptionally soft tees are towards the front of the boutique while a military inspired jacket and a cozy zip-up hang near the back. HIS also has Hawaiian shirts and a shelf of straw fedora hats. Watches, skin care and sunglasses are then topped off with clean cut sweats that would actually look good on a man sitting on the couch as well as out in public. Elevate your look with a little help from HIS in Solana Beach.

Mimi and Red in North Park
Mimi & Red’s interior is soft and subtle. Calming plants and feminine décor brush up against dark wood fixtures and plentiful clothing racks. Although the atmosphere is soothing, the women’s clothing variety is anything but bland. Spotlight designers include NU Collective, Rebecca Beeson, BB Dakota, RVCA, and Betsey Johnson. From day dresses to elegant nocturnal attire, eyewear, and handbags, Mimi & Red radiates with style. Pay a visit to Mimi and Red in North Park.
