It’s Thirsty Thursday! Wind down from your week with these refreshing happy hours from the city to the beach. We’ve got your top spots where the energy is high and prices are low, and your craving for something a little stronger is gladly welcomed.

Downtown/East Village

Bootlegger: Pasta Mafia Thursdays from 6-10pm offer $12 endless pasta bowls and half-bottles of wine, plus live jazz. That’s all on top of the regular happy hour of $4 select drafts, cocktails and house wines, and $5 small plates from 4-8pm.

Neighborhood: From 4-7pm, get 2-for-1 local beers.

Gaijin Noodle + Sake House: Head in for half-off all starters, $5 sake bombs, $5 hot sake carafe, $3 Sapporo drafts and $2 off all wine from 5-7pm.

BICE San Diego: Dine on $5 select appetizers, $5 select cocktail of the month, house wine and beer from 5-7pm.

Karl Strauss Downtown: Beers, wells, wines and flights are $4 from 4-6:30pm, plus select appetizers are $5 including crispy calamari, boneless wings and chili lime fries.

La Puerta: On Thursdays, score half-off drinks and appetizers from 3-7pm. Then from 10pm to close, get your fix of $3 frozen drinks like mojitos, margaritas and the Purple Haze.

The Local: Cheap Thursdays offer up $3 wells, select drafts and bottles, as well as $3 crispy fish tacos from 4pm to close.

Little Italy

Anthology: $6 well cocktails, $3 Anthology Amber beer, $5 selected wines and a finger-licking good menu at specialty prices from 5-7pm.

Waterfront Bar & Grill: $4 wells, $4 drafts, $3.25 domestic bottles and a complimentary appetizer tray from 4-7pm.

Hillcrest

Lotus Thai: From 5-7pm, get $5 appetizers like veggie rolls, chicken satay and shrimp tempura. Drinks offer $5 selected wines and beer and $5 for all Han Soju cocktails.

The Range Kitchen & Cocktails: Crafty Hour from 3-7pm serves $2 off wells, drafts, wine and appetizers.

La Mesa

Gingham: From 5-6pm, score half-off selected appetizers, $5 beer and wine, $6 wells and $7 infusion cocktails. Plus on Thursdays, enjoy the La Mesa Car Show from the large windows with $5 beer specials all night.

North Park

Splash Wine Lounge: S.L.O. Thursdays stand for Sustainable, Local, Organic. Enjoy pizzas and salads made with fresh ingredients from the North Park Farmers Market paired with the organic wines. Participating in S.L.O. Thursdays earns guests rewards. Regular happy hour from 3-6:30pm offers select house wines and beer for $3 and 25% off White Splash and Spring Splash pizzas and cheese plates, along with $5 snacks.

Encinitas

Union Kitchen & Tap: Social Hour from 3pm to close features $4 draft beers, $6 select wine glasses, $2 off craft cocktails and $9 flat breads.

Del Mar

Flavor Del Mar: $6 hand-crafted cocktails, $4 house wines, $3 Karl Strauss Endless Summer brews and signature food items from $2-$8 from 4-7pm. On Thursdays, you can also enjoy $7 martinis with live jazz.

Pacific Beach

Tavern at the Beach: Happy hour runs from 12pm to 7pm with all wells, beers and wines for $3. On Thursdays, you can also score $2.50 PBR, $3 domestics, $5 premium beers and a mystery banger.

World Famous: Get your $3.25 Hawaiian short ribs, $1 pollo asada tacos and $2 house margaritas from 4-11pm.

Pacific Beach Ale House: Three dollar Thursdays offer $3 you-call-its from 10pm to close, with live DJ and no cover.
