Cheers ring across the nation when the clock turns to 5pm on a Wednesday. The hump-day has been conquered; it’s all downhill from here. Celebrate your mid-week success with these refreshing happy hours from the city to the beach. We’ve got your top spots where the energy is high and prices are low, and your craving for something a little stronger is gladly welcomed.

Downtown/East Village

Altitude Sky Lounge: From 5-7pm, get $6 premium well cocktails, $5 domestic draft beers and half-off artisan flatbreads.

The Lions Share: From 4-6pm, enjoy $2 off draft beers and wine, $3 off signature cocktails and 20% off all appetizers.

Syrah Wine Parlor: Toast with $3 drafts, Budweiser and Bud Light, $5 wine specials and sangria, $4 wells and $10 wine flight specials from 4-8pm.

Café Sevilla: It’s happy hour, Spanish style, with $4 well drinks, domestic & draft beer, red or white sangria and house red or white wines. Or, go big with $20 pitchers of red or white Sangria, Sevilla Mojito or Sangarita. On Wednesdays, enjoy half-off Sangria Royal with a splash of Licor 43 from 4-7pm.

Blue Point Coastal Cuisine: Feast on $1 oysters and chilled jumbo shrimp, $6 crispy calamari, half-priced specialty martinis, $5 wines by the glass and $4 domestic draft beers from 5-6:30pm.

Analog: Score half-off bottles of wine, half-off hummus and pita and $1 bacon-wrapped dates.

Point Loma

Jimmy’s Famous American Tavern: From 3-6pm, sip on $3 draft beer, well drinks and select wines, plus $3 off all starters.

Banker’s Hill

Cucina Urbana: Wild Wednesdays at Cucina Urbana offer a burger and Moretti beer for $14. Plus, sip $5 well cocktails and sangria and $3 Moretti drafts at the bar from 5-7pm.

Bertrand at Mister A’s: Enjoy $5 wells, $6 wine by the glass, $10 specialty and skinny drinks, $4 local brews, $13.50 signature cocktails, $6 nonalcoholic drinks and $7 appetizers from 2:30-6pm.

North Park

West Coast Tavern: Happy hour from 4-6pm includes $3 wells, draft beers and house wine, plus food items for $5. On Wednesdays, score your Beer, Bourbon and BBQ. Hillcrest

Wine Steals Hillcrest: For Wednesday madness, buy one glass of wine and receive the second glass of equal or lesser value for half-price. During happy hour from 4-7pm, they’ll offer eight types of wine for $4 and select pizza slices for $2.

Harbor Island

Island Prime/C Level: On the last Wednesday of every month, Island Prime & C Level will offer a special "off the rack" wine blowout. Take home a bottle of wine at below retail prices. Enjoy your wine in the restaurant; a $12 corkage fee will apply.

Mission Valley

Playa Grill & Margarita Bar: From 3-7pm, score half-off all alcoholic beverages and half-off appetizers and small plates.

Balboa Park

The Prado: Head in for Prado Well Drinks, the house margarita, Prado draft pale ale, lounge chardonnay, wines, Prado Mule and food items including chicken skewers, spicy popcorn shrimp or piquillo pepper all for $4.50 from 4-6pm and 8-10pm.

Pacific Beach
