Drink: Tuesday Happy Hours in San Diego

Tuesday happy hours are known to be slightly spicier than the other days in the week. Most specials on this day embrace the taco, margarita and lots of guacamole. Keep rolling forward with these refreshing happy hours from downtown to Pacific Beach. We’ve got your top spots where the energy is high and prices are low, and your craving for something a little stronger is gladly welcomed.

Downtown/East Village

La Fiesta: Tequila Tuesdays at La Fiesta offer guests $3 top shelf tequila shots all night, $3 draft beer and house margaritas, $4 well drinks and wine, $5 top shelf margaritas and food specials starting at $2.

La Puerta: On the golden day, come in for $2 street tacos, $2 TJ Dawgs, $2 Tecate and Tecate Light all night.

Bootlegger: Find $4 select drafts, select cocktails and house wines, plus $5 small plates from 4-8pm.

East Village Tavern and Bowl: Enjoy $3 Jack Daniels, Jack Honey, SoCo, Herradura, Fireball, Rumpu and Jager, $3 Svedka vodka, and $3 bowling and shoes for locals and industry folks.

Las Hadas: On Tuesdays, dive into Taco De Town from open to close with $2 tacos, $2 Tecate draft and $2 frozen margaritas.

Little Italy

El Camino: Chow down on half-off tacos, $3 Coronas, $3 margaritas, $20 house margarita pitchers, $3 glasses of sangria and $15 sangria pitchers. Plus, sing your heart out at Tuesday karaoke.

Old Town

Casa Guadalajara: From 4-7pm, feast on free appetizers, $3.50 well drinks, margaritas and more beer and cocktail special prices.

Café Coyote: From 3:30pm to 10:30pm, score $2 tacos (potato, chicken, beef, carne asada, carnitas, al pastor, fish, plus the taco of the week), Coyote Gold Margaritas for $4.95, draft beer specials for $3.75 and specialty shots for $4.

Banker’s Hill

Barrio Star: From 5-7pm, you’ll find $3 tacos or $5 Barrio Margaritas.

North Park

U-31 Cocktail Lounge and Bar: From 5-8:30pm, get your fill of $2 tacos (choice of fish, cajun, chicken or vegetarian) and $2 draft beers.

El Take It Easy: Feast on fancy tacos every Tuesday on a house made tortilla for $3.

Hillcrest

The Tractor Room: On Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30pm, score $3 appetizers, $4-$5 craft drafts and $4-$6 cocktails.

Pacific Beach

Moondoggies: From 11am to close, get chicken, carne asada, carnitas or shrimp street tacos for $1. fish tacos and chicken flautas for $2, XX Draught for $3, Bud Light Pitchers for $10 and Patron Margaritas for $5.

World Famous: On Tuesdays, find Shrimp Tacos for $1.25.

Fat Fish Cantina: Each Tuesday, head in for $1.50 shrimp tacos and $1 tacos from 4-11pm.

Cabo Cantina: Enjoy all-you-can-eat Taco Tuesday for $4.95, plus rice and beans with a beverage purchase from 12pm to 12am.

Pacific Beach Shore Club: From 4pm to close, score chicken, carne asada, shredded beef and veggie tacos for $2.50. You can also down $4 Cazadores, $3 Victoria, $4 Corona and $4 Pacifico and Budweiser.

Dirty Birds: Enjoy half-priced wings and domestic pitchers. On Tuesdays, happy hour runs all day.

La Jolla

La Jolla Brew House: On Tuesdays, get your trivia, tacos and beer. La Jolla Brew House offers $2 tacos, $2 craft beers, $3 margaritas and beer trivia at 7pm.
