Named after the lifeguard tower positioned in front of the hotel, Pacific Beach’s Tower23 hotel has brought class to the funky and eclectic community lined with beach bars and sandy surf shops. Although the hotel is a step above all that, it still derives inspiration from the sands and the sea. All rooms and suites include private balconies and patios, and are furnished in teak. The accommodations come in several varieties. There’s no need to visit a spa when you book the Sanctuary Suite, which features a "chroma + aromatherapy" whirlpool tub and a separate rain shower. The Surf Pad offers sweeping ocean views, and the Sweet Suite boasts a wet bar and a 42 inch LCD screen. Downstairs, cutting-edge dining can be found at restaurant JRDN.
