I had a really amazing stay here at the US Grant. Modern accomodations with a traditional charm. I lived in SD all my life but staying here felt like another world almost.

This is a very classy hotel in Gaslamp! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone because of it's elegant ambiance! Dinner at the Grant Grill was also very nice!

Added 01/16/08 US Grant offers class like nowhere else in San Diego

Too many of these new hotels these days try to be extravagant and classy to the ultimate demise of their longevity. The US Grant hotel was founded by the son of a US President and maintains the same high standards one would expect of one with such a noble blood line. Everything here is meticulously perfect to the last detail.
