The LWP Group, a real estate developing team known throughout San Diego for luxurious abodes like Casa Barcelona and Regency Town Homes, is now the proud developer of The Pearl in Point Loma. Started late 2006, The Pearl is LWP’s answer to San Diego’s need for a boutique hotel like the Avalon in Beverly Hills. The Pearl provides a simple escape for both socialites and business people alike. The Pearl, formerly the Sportsman’s Lodge in Point Loma, features 23 boutique rooms with a vintage feel for upscale clientele, as well as a restaurant and bar for curious guests and visitors. A centralized pool area promises to be the hotbed for nightlife events and social gatherings, too. The Pearl offer alternative lavish lodging for a reasonable price, starting at $99.

Events at The Pearl Hotel:

Head to The Restaurant at The Pearl for Bistro Mondays. Our French-American inspired dining is accompanied by fitting music and films. $25 Pre-fixe menu includes such items as: croque monsieur, duck confit, seasonal vegetarian quiche, crêpes and crème brûlée

The Pearl presents "Dive-In Theatre," a free Wednesday night "cinema social" combining eclectic film choices, food and drink and light conversation. The free event takes place at the hotel's poolside lounge and theater located outdoors and connected to Restaurant at The Pearl, the exciting eatery/bar/lounge. The Groove 24/7 Brunch Party at The Pearl Hotel happens every Sunday from from May until October from 10am-5pm. The food, drink, and post-brunch activities, make this a definitely different way to spend a day in San Diego. Truly, it’s the cool by the pool, and yes, the pool is open to everyone (w/drink purchase), so bring a suit! The Pearl is my absolute favorite place to spend a weeknight evening sipping wine and nibbling on savory treats with fellow movers and shakers in San Diego. It's a welcome get-away from the usual downtown spots and a gorgeous venue with the most creative ambiance oozing out of every corner. Overall The Pearl is a great place to relax as well as meet friends to either catch-up with or brainstorm about business ideas. I give The Pearl two enthusiastic thumbs up!
