The Inn at Sunset Cliffs boasts a view so spectacular, it will be difficult to leave the window. Gaze out at the cliffs, the tumbling waves, the Ocean Beach Pier, the sands running all the way to La Jolla, and of course, the sunset. Two large patio decks extend over the water, unbeatable locations for sipping your morning coffee.

Rooms have just been renovated, and range from simple poolside queens to king studios with adjoining two-bedroom suites, perfect for accommodating the entire family. The larger rooms feature kitchenettes complete with stoves, refrigerators, microwaves, toasters, and coffee makers— exceptional amenities for extended stays.

My best friend and her husband were there last month, and they've got nothing but praise for this spectacularly-located hotel. The view alone from its terrace which extends over the water is already worth the price of admission, which, according to them, can be a bit pricey. Nevertheless, the perfect rooms, the great staff and the generally relaxing atmosphere made their vacation one of the best they’ve had.
