I live up in LA and I promised my kids that I'd take them to Legoland for the weekend. The Sheraton Carlsbad could not have been in a better location. It was right next to the park so we didn't have to figure out some elaborate transportation system to get there and back to our comfy beds after a day of tiring fun. I loved how there was in-room STARBUCKS coffee...saved me a trip to a coffeeshop. I found a great little boutique shopping center right by the hotel as well, so when my husband and kids were at the pool I did myself a little shopping! The hotel was in the such a great location, and the accommodations were endless. The beds were also extra comfy...all of us slept like babies after a long day.
Conclusion

 This weekend getaway for the kids was great. Next time I won't be so reluctant to take a trip down to Legoland because we'll be staying at the Sheraton
