The Se San Diego Hotel is the first ultra-luxury boutique hotel of its kind to hit the Gaslamp Quarter. Wow! This hotel is pure class all the way through. I've stayed at plenty of hotels in San Diego but never one as nice as this. I can't even think of a close second. The rooftop bar is also a great addition and made for a great place to lounge around and catch a front row seat to the sunset.

Added 12/13/10 Pool parties galore

During the summer, there were a lot of chilled/lounge pool parties held in Se's intimate pool with spacious chairs and luxurious deck. I have recommended my relatives to stay here when they visit me in San Diego and there are no complaints. Conveniently located away from loud, obnoxious party-goers while still being close to all the action, this is a wonderful place to stay.

My friend and I stayed here during the summer for one night to relax and have a "staycation." From the moment we checked in to when we left we had great customer service!
