Located just minutes away from the La Jolla beaches, the 14-room bed and breakfast offers luxury, comfort and value for the money. Expect to pay an average of $200 per night for this waterfront boutique hotel but, trust us, the ambient, soothing scenery and landscape views of the Pacific Ocean are well worth the price of admission. The rooms are furnished with gorgeous Mediterranean décor and there are a variety of room types to choose from. Some rooms come complete with private patios and/or balconies; private courtyard entrances and a spacious living room and kitchen. Regardless of which room you stay in, you are guaranteed a spectacular ocean view. Each morning, awake to a delicious gourmet breakfast, complete with French pastries, hot coffee and tea – all complimentary, of course.

As the Scripps Inn is located on Whale Watch Point, winter guests can watch gray whales migrate right past their window, and year round, dolphins, seals and sea lions can be seen frolicking about.
