I love the Gaslamp Quarter and like to make it a memorable night when I visit. The Marriott Gaslamp Quarter is the perfect place to stay. They are professional every step of the way and have fabulous customer service. This hotel is comfortable and classy. They are right next to Petco Park and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. I definitely recommend the Marriott Gaslamp Quarter!!!
I checked into the San Diego Marriott while in town for business in the Gaslamp Quarter. The location of the Marriott was so convenient; it was simply three miles away from the San Diego International Airport—a perfect place to stay for travelers in town and on the go. I stayed in the Junior Suite, which was the ideal hotel room for business; it included a flat screen TV, a highly illuminated room, as well as a comfortable work desk/space in the room to prep for any work-related tasks I had. Though my stay was short, I did have enough time to stop by the Altitude Sky Lounge at the roof of the Marriott with a few colleagues to get away from work and overlook the beautiful city of San Diego!
My husband and I stayed at the San Diego Marriott Gaslamp Quarter last week for a weekend getaway and the hotel is absolutely amazing. The lobby is very refreshing, compared to the past couple of hotels I’ve been to, with high ceilings and really pretty multi-color lights behind the front desks. The view from our room at the 18th floor was excellent; it overlooks the city and there’s a great view of Petco Park. On our last night there we visited the Altitude Sky Lounge, which is located at the roof of the building; the atmosphere was very chic and the huge fire pit was a great bonus.
