Porto Vista Hotel and Suites in Little Italy is a newly renovated hotel that caters to both leisure and business travelers in the downtown San Diego area. The Columbia Street location makes Porto Vista a great destination for San Diego travelers seeking to discover restaurant row in Little Italy, Balboa Park, San Diego Convention Center, San Diego Harbor, and the Gaslamp Quarter – all just blocks away. Just in time for spring and summer 2008, Porto Vista is set to introduce a brand new 151 luxury suites in addition to the initial 42 rooms. Signature Porto Vista guest room amenities include plush bedding ensembles with cotton rich 280 thread count sheets, electronic in-room safes, ergonomic leather chair desks, voicemail and auto-wake-up phone systems, satellite TV, and soft terry bath linens. Additional new amenities will include a top floor restaurant and lounge with heated outdoor patio seating and views of the harbor, a 30-person Jacuzzi pool, fitness center, full-service business center, free wireless internet, 6,000 square foot catering space, two-room harbor view suites, two-level loft suites, marble bathrooms with whirlpool tubs, and much more.
